1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

NII OKAI · John 14:215 November 2022

So up until this time ⌚, there was no place for man in God's house 🏡.

But now he goes to prepare a place for man 👨

NII OKAI · John 14:26 June 2023

What a privilege, to have a dwelling place prepared by Christ himself for us.

3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

NII OKAI · John 14:66 January 2023

So to answer where he was going — he was going to the Father.

And the way to the Father for us is him.

NII OKAI · John 14:67 January 2023

The way and the place are neither a pathway nor a place; they are persons who are the way and destination.

7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

NII OKAI · John 14:78 January 2023

If you have known me, the way, ye should have known the place as well.

He who knows the way knows the destination; he who knows the path knows the place also.

For every path leads to a place, so if anyone claims to know the path, then he knows where the path leads to.

That is what knowing the path means in the first place.

8Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

NII OKAI · John 14:97 January 2023

Why didn't Jesus say here, or even in
John 10:30 (I and my Father are one), or anywhere else in scripture,

that "I am the Father", but rather says whoever has seen me has seen the Father?

It is this separation of Father and Son that has become the basis for the debate regarding the definition of the Trinity.

Because Jesus never stated it explicitly, and neither did Paul or the other disciples, that tells us they are different.

Indeed, they being different and the same is explicitly implied by varied scriptures, hence the confusion 😕

Here are my personal conclusions, subject to change upon evidence.

I think Jesus is God. Now imagine this: God wants to come to earth 🌎 and talk to man.

But God is a Spirit, yet he wants to talk to man face 😔 face... Man to man.

So now he has to come in a human form, and that is exactly what he does.

But whiles in human form he still is Spirit on the throne... He created all things including angels and holds everything together by his power.

So to take on flesh and human form and still be on his throne is the easiest thing ever.

With this theory, that means the God Abraham saw and ate with was Jesus, or more appropriately Immanuel would be a more apt name.

That also means that the one who ate with Moses and the elders of Israel 🇮🇱 was Immanuel.

He it was that spoke to Moses face to face in the tent 🎪 outside the camp.

He told Aaron and Miriam in their rebellion that Moses, I speak to him face to face; he, Moses, alone has this revelation.

I believe many more things Moses knew of but did not write about in the Pentateuch. He knew this face-to-face God he is experiencing will one day be experienced by all, but they would not know him.

So in the transfiguration he meets Moses the man of God once more on the mount 🗻. They knew each other already.

I suspect the same came to the three Hebrew boys in the fires of Nebuchadnezzar.

And now he is with us, born this time, not just appearing to his prophets but to all.

He came through birth, the son of man and God, so that he could be legally seen by all.

He took on himself our infirmities and so qualified to die... A shameful death of the sinful man 👨.

And now he is arisen and we have risen with him too. We have exchanged places and carry in us the divine nature 🏞.

We have become him, sons of man and sons of God.

He that makes all this possible is the man Jesus by his Spirit. We have become one — literally.

10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

NII OKAI · John 14:106 January 2023

So the notion of oneness with the Father not being literal but referring to attributes goes down the drain.

Philip asks to see the Father with these his eyes 👀, and the Lord says I am the physical representation of the Father.

The Father lives in me; my union with the Father is so synchronised that the words and works are actually the Father speaking and doing them.

Such oneness goes beyond just mere agreement of the Son with the Father.

NII OKAI · John 14:106 June 2023

The Father doeth the works that my words represent.

11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

NII OKAI · John 14:116 January 2023

Now the Lord is saying, just believe me, though it sounds unbelievable. At least I have extraordinary works to prove that what I say is true.

If it were not so, how could I do works that only God can do?

NII OKAI · John 14:117 January 2023

This union was the best that words could offer.

As we draw more and more into God, we would understand these things.

And when we finally meet him, our understanding shall be complete and we would know more and more.

12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

NII OKAI · John 14:127 January 2023

Because I go to my Father, and I will come back to them who believe in me by the Holy Spirit.

And that is when they will be endued with power to do greater works.

13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

NII OKAI · John 14:167 January 2023

The beginning of the reverse relationship.

Jesus was going to the Father & upon arrival another person just like him will also come to the disciples.

17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

NII OKAI · John 14:177 January 2023

Why didn't the disciples ask the same questions Thomas and Philip asked when Jesus told them that they know and have seen the Father...

John 14:7 KJV
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Because he had corrected them earlier when they asked that question 🙋,

he was surprised 🤨 😲 they did not know the Father when he, Jesus, had been with them all this while.

John 14:9 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

And now he tells them he will send another person like himself (allos)...

A person they know and obviously have seen (though not stated, but obviously they see him because he dwells with them, and the world cannot see him, implying they could).

And they dared not ask the same question they had asked earlier, that "they know him not, nor have seen him, so he should show him to them".

Especially now that Jesus had repeated in an eerily similar way the words 'seeth him, know him and dwelleth in you'.

John 14:17 KJV
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

NII OKAI · John 14:178 January 2023

The Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit, was not a topic Christ spoke about until now.

Indeed, in the New Testament it is only John who talks of the Spirit in depth, even in this chapter onwards.

So a topic and personality Jesus had rarely spoken about, and suddenly he tells his disciples that not only do they know him already but have seen him.

But he reveals what he means by saying he dwells with them. At this time, who was dwelling with the disciples? He, Jesus.

He was the Spirit seen in flesh and shall be in them. Remember he said another comforter.

One like himself. Him in another form, in other words.

18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

NII OKAI · John 14:188 January 2023

I will not leave you comfortless.

I will come to you as the Spirit.

19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

NII OKAI · John 14:196 June 2023

And indeed the world saw him no more for good, but his disciples saw him in his physical body, and after his ascension in the person of the Holy Ghost.

20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

NII OKAI · John 14:208 January 2023

After having talked of the Holy Spirit, now he ropes in another dimension of the oneness he and the Father have.

That is, now there is a oneness of he and the Father that involves man 👨.

Now man 👨🏿 was part of that oneness.

This additional oneness was spoken of after he spoke of the Spirit, and he himself said in the verse before that it is the day when the Spirit comes to indwell in them that they will understand beyond all doubt 🤷‍♂️ how this oneness is possible 🙆

So possibly it includes them.

21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

25These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

NII OKAI · John 14:2615 November 2022

The wise are spoken to in proverbs and they understand. The Spirit is one with the Father and the Son.

The Son is one with the Father and they are in perfect agreement one with another...

The Holy Spirit is sent in the name of the Father.

He is with the disciples and shall be on them.

And yet in heaven we never see three persons sitting on three thrones, or even the Father sitting on his throne with Jesus at his right hand and the Holy Spirit by his side.

No, we see one throne with one person sitting on it...

However, we see symbolism of Christ and symbolisms of the Spirit, but not persons.

Check the book of Revelation.

Indeed, the times that Christ is seen in bodily form, he is not in or by the throne.

He is en route to the second coming...

He that hath ears 👂.

NII OKAI · John 14:268 January 2023

Whom the Father will send — once more bringing the separation between Christ and God.

But he will send in my name — in my stead — showing once more the oneness; the Father will not send without me.

He is sending in my name, under my authority.

27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

NII OKAI · John 14:288 January 2023

I go away and come again unto you as the Holy Ghost. Twice he has said or insinuated his coming back as the Holy Ghost.

John 14:18 KJV
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
